i thought i would put these pics on as we were talking about them the other day..
they are on what was just a grassy area, used mainly by dog walkers..must have been sown by the council as there are a few other areas dotted about that are the same..
could have been better pics,i was in a hurry as i didnt want to be called a mad woman taking pics on a main road.
wouldnt it be nice to have a lot of our spare ground like this..looks much better.

I agree. We are funny folk aren`t we, I often stop and take a photo when on holiday or just out and about, strange thing is I`ve realised I rarely do it locally, lol....

Oh thank you joanella, I have been away so I have only just seen it - it is so pretty, I love it and totally agree - I wish they would do it more often. We could all plant a few near us and see how quickly they join up?

Like that idea Sticki! :-) I have an area at the back of where I live that is 'wild' so I have decided to try sprinkling some wild flower seeds on it next year!

Hi Sticki, & i agree with you & Red..i have a bit of "unadopted" land (only a small patch) with a footpath on it,i may throw some seeds on there, everyone could do a little bit as you say..it brightens the place up..good idea Sticki..
