wild orchid in the hedge row near Otterton in Devon

Hi we had a lovely walk from Ladram Bay to Otterton in Devon – down country lanes and paths, we saw in the hedge row a patch of wild orchid it was beautiful we were sp chuffed as John has a collection of orchids at home that her loves. No we did not touch it we like nature to stay where it is for everyone to enjoy. ( I will get a picture on the site as soon as my son comes over . He took a picture for us as we forgot to take our camera on the walk)
In have got to recommend Ladram bay caravan site to one and all what a beautiful place. A spectacular part of the country we love it, we have been many times before and will certainly go again at some time.
We had fab time and saw much on our walks of interest. We also took pictures of a moth near the beach it is beautiful
seagull chicks on the cliff face and rabbits galore.

It's a beautiful area. I grew up in Exmouth so I know Otterton very well - as a child we did several walks along the River Otter from Budleigh Salterton to Otterton
