Viktoria Regia - the Flower Festival.

Each year in September there is held a flower decoration festival in Piestany. As it is always very nice, I thought, you might enjoy some photos.
So here they are.
I guess, this was made mostly for the male part of audience.
Lot of people and tractor with girlands – well, nothing against that, but still…
Sort of spenach swan…
Short view into the park, while waiting for another allegory shuttle…
This allegory shuttle had title “Hungry Caterpillar” and was made from big cabbages :))
China girl with bamboo grasses…and a black passenger, who didn´t want to be recognized ….ehm, ehm. Well, traffic is expensive here.
New fashion house “Green leaves”…
…and little bugs (not those of MI or KGB) were in their company…
Wait, where is the label with my name and address which Mom gave to me?
Mrs Robinson in her flower boat…
She took it too seriously…
Another buggie…..and flowers….
OK, now have a look on some autumnal arrangememnts in the park.
This one was very fragile…autumnal…
And that is for now just enough.

amazing, thanks katarina, the one with bamboo and leaves made to look like roses fascinated me, and little bumble bee made me smile! the last delicate white and grass one was lovely!

I think they were from the paper, but as it is over now, it would be hard to check it again. But now, when I looked more closely, I think you might be right :)))
To me it seemed like paper roses.

Super pictures Katarina. What a lovely idea, I do wish we had more things like it here. Garden shows are all very well, but this allows EVERYONE to get involved. Brilliant.
