Today we have 38 Celsius. It is hardly bearable even at the lake. And as dogs suffer as we do, even much more (less possibilities to get rid of heat) I prepared for Noris a special bath. This was made from lukewarm water with lavender flowers from my garden. It smells perfectly and it has soothing and calming properties. Noris enjoyed it very much. He made bubbles in the water, hunted for flowers and and played a very slow waterpolo with me. He was asleep within 15 minutes ;-)

I think, I will prepare the same foot bath for me this evening.

Very happy, Warwick. And this bath sedated him for a a very long afternoon nap, lol.

Lol :-)

You deserve it, Katarina. Noris is a very lucky young dog!

Oh bless him.

Does your OH get treated as well as the dog Katarina? he's a lucky pooch. The footbath sounds wonderfully refreshing on a hot day.

I do not understand, why man should be treated like a dog, Steragram. They are two different entities. You can guess, who has higher score in qualities women appreciate so much - fidelity, protection, affectionateness, tenderness, empathy, playfulness, easy-going, no secret debts, no secret alimony (kids are no problem ;-)...etc. So-who is the winner?
By the way, Noris wakes me up every morning with the softest kiss in the world ;-)

I hope you enjoy your soak as much as Norris appears to have done Katarina. He looks ever so cute - I hope he washed behind his ears ;)

He loves to soak and bloat his lips in the water, Scottish. It is very funny. And yes, I had Kneipp feet bath this evening in the garden and we are going to have a -RAIN! Lovely fresh air started to flow in the garden after three weeks of Sahara.

Now there's food for thought Katarina - should I swap OH for a dog? But a dog can't unscrew tight lids from jars, so maybe I'll hang on for a bit.

That wasn´t a lucky example, Steragram. In our house it is me who unscrew lids from jars, lol. So Noris is winner. By the way, he recently found, how to open doors and started to show me his dog-collar with paw. He use it as arm, pointing to the collar. Lol.

The only disadvantage is, that he wants to play early in the morning, when I am full asleep.

You are going to have your hands full with that dog!
