After seeing the last post from Hywel, I decided to post a picture of another talented member of GOY .
It is a ‘hedgehog’ painted by Meadowland.
We do not have hedgehogs on the island and when Julia offered to paint one for me I got excited and amazed by her generosity.
It arrived soon and safe.

My OH likes to woodwork so he made a frame and put it all together.

Now we have a hedgehog on our dinning room wall and we both love it.

I am grateful for Julia’s generosity. She is very talented in many respects including her lovely garden.

Hedgehogs were very common around here but we don't see so many these days.

Just found your very kind blog Klahanie....and the accompanying comments from GoY members. The 'Hedgehog' painting has most certainly been enhanced by your OH's workmanship.
Painting during the winter months helps when there isn't much gardening to do,thank goodness!
