for the teen who will be sixteen(how she has made it i dont know) we have always had pets and i think a child brought up without learning responsability and care for an animal is missing out on something special,you name it we have had it,at the moment,2 bearded dragons,3 cats,and the sundry othere pets who have gone to the park in the sky,i lost my dog ben due to cancer a long time ago and the teen has been asking for a dog for years,soo mon im picking up a small yorkshire terrier for her 16th,its a girl and hopefuly it will look like the poster on her wall,she has been planning it for years and the dog will be called……….CHUTNEY,i will add pics mon,does anyone want to add names so that poor chutney doesnt have to have this hanging round her neck,thanks all,chris

What a lovely birthday present,I think Pickle is nicer too.I always think how names sound to other people,when you have to call their name...Lol.
We had a yorkshire terrier for 16 years,with the very original name of..Yorky..!!!
Mum and dads choice.Mum wanted Nell,but we had a boy,so in those days,you didn't "get in touch with your feminine side" Lol.

i was going to say anything but pickle as thats her choice for the next dog,so that she can say they are called chutney and pickle,as if thats going to happen,another dog i mean,and sewingkilla the right dog is out there and will come when its meant to,keep working on him

Lucky daughter. I always wanted a dog when I was a teen but was never lucky enough. I have made up for it since though! As it's a little female, how about Pick-a-Lily!!! Happy birthday to your daughter and hope she loves her gift :)

How about Pickle? bit nicer than Chutney lol, can't wait to see pics, my daughter (also 16) has been wanting a dog for a long time, we even got one from the local dog home but he had to go back :( now my husband wont get another one, but ...i am still working on him lol.
