We all love our gardens on here Ladybug so you can go on about yours as much as you like!
How lovely to have a day in the garden and it looks like you've put it to good use. You've made a good start and I can imagine that lawn, what a difference it will make to the overall effect. Well done :o)

Your doing great and yes me too can imagine a lawn, I always found it easier to dig with a ladies fork, or if you ve got a strong man skim it, which I did on my allotment like this years ago. Your flowers and arch is lovely keep going.

Ladybug you are doing well in your garden and its a pleasure to read of your progress and your enjoyment in what you are doing, you will be surprised how different it will look once you cut that grass, I remember when our garden looked like that, except it also had raspberry canes going wild all over the place, nightmare at first but gradually I tamed it, you sound determined which I like......

Decking is expensive. I was only able to get it done after my mother came to stay here when she was ill, and she paid half lol

You're doing a great job. Ladybug47! It's very hard work when you tackle a garden, Hubby and I know that only too well when we tackled ours last year! Keep going it'll be worth all the effort! Lily's right, do keep talking about your garden, this is a great place to get help and ideas from, and has lovely friendly people! Good Luck!

looks very neat and tidy, i think that plant in the 4th picture is the one we used to call 'joseph's coat' ~ cos it is more than one colour.
