had to laugh yeterday as im always with my camera,as you all do,sitting in my poly tunnel yesterday as it was not a great day,toddled about just checking what is comeing up and admireing my garden and planning what to do next as you do,coffee in hand and enjoying the silence,when a lovely blackbird just landed right in front of me,so I froze and THEN…. a kestrel just fell out of the sky and landed on my blackbirds back,they fought and the kestrel tryed to take off but the blackbird was too heavy,then the blackbird put up a good fight,pecked the hawk in the head and flew away,the kestrel sat there with its wings spread wide and thats when it noticed me,and what do i have to show for this bit of drama,squashed pea seedlings and a camera sitting in the poly tunnel lol

Typical and missed out many a time, I know its natures way and we can't interfere but I'm really pleased the blackbird won that round....

I didnt think the blackbird would get away as when the hawk hit there was a big puff of feathers,and when the kestrel was sat there with its wings spread it did look beautiful.

That's how it always is .... can't find anything when you need it lol.
But I wish nature wasn't so cruel :o(
