well,it rained and then it blew and rained and then it poured it down with a bit of sleet,my raincoat did,nt cope and i was frozen but willing to carry on for the sake of the plants,had to buy a fleece which helped,they actualy closed early 4.30 instead of 6pm it was that bad.
but I got what i wanted and will report later when I sort them out,from a drenched christine

What a shame ladybug, glad you still managed to get what you wanted :-)
We had a similar trip to Harrogate flower show a couple of years ago it did stay dry all day till it was time to go, then we forgot where we'd parked the car,spent half an hour searching the car park just as the heavens opened and we got soaked, then hubby thought he was well hidden behind the other cars and decided to change his wet jeans,we had a long drive home,just as the car next but one was reversing out,lol.
