Eureka..!!!!

I do find that works well and it seems to be quicker to load. Though the photos also get comments as well as the ones in the blog. All good feedback though.

I never thought of that, I was going to delete them once I was sure the blog didn't disappear...o

Sue, if you click 'save and preview' you can see the draft blog, and then you can upload photos from there straight to the blog.
You can arrange the photos in the blog by cut-and-paste ... a bit of a faff but that's how I've found to do it.
(I'm a bit fussy and don't want my photos page cluttered with photos from my blogs - well that's how I am :D )

Thankyou all for responding, I don't like to have my photo page messed up either and to be honest unless I have bought and added a new plant/shrub/tree to my garden page I hardly ever post any photo's unless they are in a blog, I just found that If added there first then I was able to transfer to my blog, it was really getting at me and I was determined to finish that particular blog come hell or high water !!! as the saying goes, I've deleted most of them now....
