Very satisfying.

We have some wide steps up from our patio, and each side has had this slime fungus for sometime. It has been so dry for some weeks now, and it drys and comes away, so before the rain it was out with the stiff brush to get rid of it. Just hope it won’t come back. So, yes, very satisfying.

Oh my goodness ... beware the MENSA spores !!! :o)

I've know Of MENSA SCORES ( don't worry! slime mold has a good way to go yet for a decent one) but never MENSA spores. But, it's something to think about Terra, increasing human intelligence via inhalation or ingestion of spores, what a boon to the human race that would be. No, I take that back, what is needed now in the human race is not more intelligence but civility. Seem to be bouncing back and forth nowadays between barbarism and decadence.

Slime fungus is really slime mold. Don't get your hopes up. It reproduces by spores. You can break it up with a brush but the individual pieces no matter how small will find their way back together again forming an oraganism that has habits that almost seem to border on intelligence.
