The front garden looked like this
Well, that’s over with due to the frosty nights.
Now the only color left in the back has been provided by some cosmos upon which the pollinators are completing their work for the year.
Whew! I’ve completed my work in the garden too…..
But now I have started 2023 garden thinking:)

Your front garden looked absolutely lovely L'strife, never mind it will be lovely again next year, we haven't had any frost yet so my flowers are still doing well, the Cosmos have self seeded in one of the beds so I now have new plants just coming into flower, in all my gardening years I've never had them do that before, I always save some seedheads ready for the next years sowing but they are started off in my g'house, now I'm scattering some in various places around the garden just to see what happens...its a confusing time that's for sure, my wallflowers planted for next year are flowering already adding even more colour...I have my favourite chair that is opposite our french windows, its gives me the best view, I'm often found just looking out and to others it looks as though I'm doing nothing but I do all my garden plans from that chair at this time of the year....LOL...

Yes! I think that some of the hardest work done and most important decisions that I have made in my life have been accomplished while sitting in a chair.

Glorious colour in your garden earlier. No frost here in Surrey as yet. Love the last pic of your resting legs, the flowers on the mat ( also the china bunnies). :-)

Thank you Feverfew....I just added another pic that shows the bunnies better. Also in the lower left corner you can see my honey bunny Emma on her favorite bed. This pic was taken today and I don’t ever remember getting off this comfortable chair I am sitting in.

Lovely garden Loosestrife and it will look just as lovely next year!
I like the quirkiness of your gardens, back and front and look forward to seeing your changes next year.
I sit in our conservatory looking out at the garden and planning for next year.
No frost here yet and if it is like last winter, there won't be any again!
Famous last words! Haha!

Hard to believe how quickly things change Loosestrife! Your garden was filled with abundant colour - a haven for wildlife and a real cheer for us on GoY!
Your cosmos look pretty, plus the wildlife are still making the most of it! Lovely close ups of the bees.
Looks like you're resting up well, contemplating the year to come in your garden...
