Hi Loupyloo, welcome back , pleased your back is okay now,that sure was bad timing wasn't it but could have been worse for you, sod's law that it happened whilst your family were with you, I hope it didn't spoil things too much for you, Paul is on Facebook, if you don't know his surname I cam PM it to you, he's busy at the moment being Mr Turniphead , very pleased with his garden and also has a beautiful grandaughter, as you can imagine she is the light of his and Julie's life, as well as the proud mummy and daddy obviously.....

I'm sorry to hear of your accident. Glad you're better and got a new laptop too.

What dreadfully bad luck - so sorry it must have interfered with the visit. But its good to hear you are getting better. No hurry to sort the garden - it will be waiting for you.

I don't trust Facebook - wouldn't tell them anything abut me or my preferences.

No I understand that Stera, it was a long while before I did but family and friends are on there and its so easy to keep in touch with each other..It does have its private area, you only put on what you want to, cheaper than a phonecall, lol....

Sorry Sue (L) but there are lots of people on here who are not on fb, and they are my friends ... and although I have joined fb I have not dumped them like Paul has done.

I don't like fb, I enjoy writing blogs about my garden and reading other people's blogs but there's nothing like that on fb. That's why I don't go on it much. I prefer this site,
and I don't need it to keep in touch with my family and friends. I see them.

Steragram you are right about FB Farage with Trump and Gannon have been collecting information on FB about all those on it through a private firm in Canada going through a private firm is not illeagal.

Hywel you don't have to apologize to me you know I use both, I too like the blogs and you are right thats a great feature on here, my family is spread far and wide, some of them are abroad, I would not get their news regularly without Facebook, people don't write letters like they used to, they turn on their computers..
3d I don't read nonsense of any kind like that on Facebook, there is a magic section that gives me the option to not have to read such rubbish, shame we don't have that choice on here isn't it, I thought you would have picked up over the years that I don't get involved in politics or the rubbish people spout about it.....

Firstly Linclass I was nt talking to you I was replying to Steragram on Loupyloo page not yours.
Secondly if you dont like what I write then dont read it when I am not replying to you but to Steragram and thirdly I have never been a member or ever been on FB as its like a school playground full of bullies and know it all s that think we shouldd all be like themselves . Forthly I read it from the news NOT off FB as FB is a data mining tool its political because are the product.

Loupyloo: That was really bad luck!Thank Goodness you say all is well now. back problems are no joke.
It's lovely having family visits and it's good to keep in touch via FaceTime/Skype. Daughter and family are in the US on holiday at the moment and we were able to see where they are staying. Messenger is useful also and free.
I was able to track their flight thanks to modern technology though it was an effort holding that little plane up in the sky till it landed safely! :O)
What brand of laptop did you decide on? I was thinking about getting one but SIL has lent me his large desktop and it's great on my eyes.

I refuse to get into a debate with you over this , been there in the past, even though you used a different name and know it is not worth it, I was merely stating that I am capable of not reading the rubbish,or more to the point ignoring it, I do know what I'm talking about as I do go on Fb as I've said, you do make me smile 3d although not for the same reason that Hywel made me laugh, are there bullies on there???? thought you did not participate...
When I am reading through a blog I do read all the comments, irrespective of whom has written them, it is my right as a Goy member, I also often read through them more than once, I do hate it when I have been misunderstood..

What an awful thing to happen Loupylou! Glad that you are recovering, all these things seem to happen when we don't need them - referring to the laptop, you would never want your accident at any time.
I too miss Paul and it's a shame that he's not around any longer, hope he is well and you too. The garden will wait for you to be better, not in a tidy way, but it will wait!

Ahrr yes I remember on your piece on the Queen and Royals . I have made no secret on what I was named before its on my profile.

Thank you for the info on Paul, I liked all his inputs and loved looking at all the photos of his baby grand daughter, garden not to mention Gandolf hiding somewhere in the garden. I hope I have not sturred up an 'hornets nest' asking about him. Take care gardening everyone and enjoy the tasks ahead.

No you haven't stirred anything up Loupylou, you must have realised by now that we do all know one another very well even though its only on here, done and dusted as far as I'm concerned, lol......
