Cold frosty mornings!

Hello everyone, long time no see, hear, I am missing GoY!
over 300 photos backed up on 2 cameras waiting to be put onto my computer but I haven’t had time (due to mosaicing in my studio for the past two months.)
Goodness it’s cold and hard and I know some of you are deep in snow which seems to be missing us for the moment, we just have lots of ice. And thanks Hywel for your bright photos, flowers seem such a distant memory and it’s hard to believe that all those plants are just asleep and will grow back to full glory next year (I hope!)
I have been able to cut nothing back this winter as I simply didn’t have time so Feb/march will be very busy!! Am a bit worried too about the more tender plants (aren’t we all!!)
Well it doesn’t feel the same blogging without pictures does it, it’s a bit boring but I just wanted to say hello to you all really and keep safe in all this snow.
For those in the know about the mosaic exhibition, I have made 50 pieces!!!! The poor dogs are bored, the house is a mess and hubby is lucky if he gets fed!! I have made mosaics of flowers, trees and birds and am looking forward to posting pics as soon as I can.
Keep safe and warm everybody. Miss you!! X Lulu
ps Sluggypup is huge now and still naughty and is wanting lots of snow to play in! The only bugbear with her is that she is afraid of most men, does anyone know what we can do for her?

Oh Lulu, that exhibition sounds exciting! Looking forward to seeing your mosaics later, when you have time. As for the dog...I've heard of that problem before...not sure what you can do except get the advice of an animal behaviourist. They are very good at that kind of thing. Have to say though, a lot of men scare me too!! :))

Good luck with your mosaics !

Lulu, you have been busy having made all of the mosaics for your stall at Cheltenham. It will be nice to see some photos when you are able to get the up on your page. The others you have put up previously are all so lovely.
I hope you can get your dog sorted with his dislike of men. I wonder if there is any help to be found on the internet without going to an animal behaviourist? Perhaps you've no time to be looking with all your mosaics on the go! Good luck with the pooch and the mosaics :)

I have the feeling that this weather won't warm up by next week, in which case the whole show will be cancelled!! All that work......argh!

That's very disappointing. Maybe it could just be postponed until a late date. Then all your efforts will not have been in vain.

Other half says warmer tomorrow and then rain, fingers crossed! You see next date is the big cheltenham festival in March, which is v expensive rents and 4 days instead of two!!!!
Would like to sell some before Christmas so I can afford to buy some gifts......
