Work in progress 3!

Thankfully it only rained during the night! I spent part of today dismantling my kitchen (halfway, got bored) & moving the units into my shed. I intend to insulate the shed & wire it up, then I can use it as a workroom. My one-bedroomed cottage isn’t big enough for all my craft stuff!
Speaking of night, I’m adding a couple of photos of Iggle Piggle ( ok, silly & obvious name!), Smudge’s hedgehog friend, who comes to get fed now! I was lucky he stayed long enough & let me near enough to take photos last night!
In the garden, I moved the Valerian to the back fence & shifted the heucheras & the liatris spicata into the flower bed.
Then I painted my garden table & chairs (first coat) and me!
I also threw down (literally) some small paving stones on the grass, trying to work out ideas for a path to the gate. Have decided on a gravel path (winding, of course) with the paving stones as stepping stones. More digging! My "lawn doesn’t have a flat bit in it, but its a bit beyond me to level it out just yet, my back is killing me!
I then went down to the river, I live just across the river from Scone Palace, & spent a very enjoyable hour or so collecting seed heads & picking daisies & aconites (I think) gorgeous blowsy flowers that the bees (and my cat) love. One of them came up with a root, so I’ll be planting it. Stay tuned for another game of “name that plant” once I’ve taken pics!

Yes Mac, catfood. He (or she, not checking!) loves it! Mind you, I tried him and Smudge on a new one last night, & neither of them would eat it!
The racecourse is in the grounds of Scone palace so you were in the heart of old Scone! The new bit is about half a mile away. When I go down to the river (4 or 5 mins walk) I can see the palace & the racecourse!
I think there's only one hedgehog Jaque, but I could be wrong. Mind you this one is getting closer to the house all the time; I was standing on the doorstep to take the pics!

Jaque, how big do hedgehogs grow? The cheeky little fella that visits me is about 5 or 6 inches long, but quite chubby looking & so cute! I'll have to build him a house in a quiet corner! He likes to hide under the rhubarb if anything startles him, but that wont give him any cover later! (see last night's/ this morning's blog!)
