I'm a stereotypical gardner - middle aged librarian in a South Londond suburb (unless I'm trying to be posh, in which case I live in Surrey). I have as much garden as I can handle, and grow a wide variety of fruit, veg and flowers, aided by four cats and a reluctant husband. I share the garden with lots of birds, frogs, foxes, slugs, and a zillion crepy crawlies who often get first dibs on the goodies. And I wouldn't have it nay other way.
