Historic day.

I know it’s not gardening BUT:
I think it’s wonderful that the next American President is to be Barak Obama.
His voice reminded me of some one, and this morning I remembered who, years ago Martin Luther King “Had a Dream”, it just may be about to come true. Happy new President to the Americans.
The other historic thing about today, my lovely “baby”, and her daddys’ “Princess” is 39 years old today! She is our special child, one we were told we would never get, but we did. Catherine too, has gone on to have the son she was told she would never have, our gorgeous Louis. (Oh by the way, I was a miracle baby too -weighed in at two and a half pounds 70 years ago!)
Anything and everything is possible. Love Marge.

Marge ~ What a lot of miracle babies in one family !
Happy birthday to your special Princess. :o)
Wohlibuli ~ I hope the new President brings better fortunes for you. Let's hope the tough times are over. :o)
This seems to be a happy day all around.
My Welsh Terrier has just received a reasonably good report from the vet. Despite the dog's liver cancer, it looks like I'll have some more quality time with my boy. :o)

It was a historic day, but America's problems cannot be solely blamed on government, and cannot all be fixed by government or the president either. There are other factors involved. So we will see how things work out.
Anyways, congratulations on your miracle children! That is wonderful you have been blessed with them for so long!

Glad you are happy about it, so am I. I try not to be too vocal about it, but my families life under the last 8 years of the republican party has gotten much worse, and I hope that with a Democratic congress and a democrat in the White House, things will get better. Fingers crossed!
