I have been off line for over a week – with acute pc problems – but now after many phone calls to my provider and a visit to the computer shop for a check up – it was finally decided by the powers that be that a new router was needed – so another wait of 5 days for that to arrive – and now here we are!!

In the mean time we have been out and about – walked a lot and when weather permitted worked frantically on the borders and the allotment – I am posting a few pics as always.

The other weekend in between the storms we went to Whittington Castle – to a Plant Fair – it was a jolly affair and we walked around chatted a little – had a cup of coffee and bought some plants and seeds

Is this you?

This is what I bought

We have walked a lot -

This little orchid was seen at Much Wenlock in Shropshire – about 4 miles or so from us

Look – blue skies – that was 8.30 today Wednesday – yes it did pour down later – hills are Caer Caradoc and Lawley

Stiperstones bathed in sunlight to the right of me

This stretch of blue cornflowers is new to the hill this year and it is certainly an eye catcher

This is the view from my favourite tree on the top of the hill

Back home – the little Campanula is doing well I split it last year and so I now have several plants around the garden

This day lily is doing really well – it has been in situ for quite a few years and seems to need minimal attention

My Aubretia seeds are through these were free with the Gardening News and my Aquilegia seeds from Malvern are doing well – but there is lots to do in the greenhouse and not enough time

And on the feeders – two bullfinches I have been trying to get this shot for a few weeks – this is the best yet – shame about their tails ! – I will try again – Thanks for joining me – Bye

Brilliant...Isn't it hard to catch those Bullfinch ?

Some lovely views and great close ups, I like the view through your favourite tree.

I liked those views - very picturesque :o)
Congratulations on your seeds growing. I've got some to sew but can't get round to it lol
