Another day in the garden

Today has been a very hot humid day. After a visit to B &Q to choose some more plants and some new cable for our pond pump which has a mysterious fault on it. My husband has the patience of Job when he is fault finding. If the cable doesn’t solve the fault I’m afraid it will be relegated to the garage.
When we came back I went into the garden and took a few photos . We are nearly getting to the end of the season.
Hope you like them.

Yes my lawns are a credit to Andy the gardener. He only started his garden business this year and we are extremely pleased with his work.
I will show him your comment Steragram he will be
chuffed(a good Lincolnshire saying)
Also they are Honorine , I have never seen them so tall, they are nearly as tall as me ?

I wish we had an Andy! Mowing is my job because I feel it is a good form of exercise but I would happily give in and get an Andy! He gets a better result than I do!
Your garden is a true reflection of August with lovely, bright colours.

Nice! That's a lawn to be proud of... I'm quite jealous of your anemone (is it Honorine Jobert?) My newly planted Whirlybird is suffering from an extreme sulk and has done Nothing but look miserable.
