Those are lovely Marjorie. Nice that you have been painting some garden flowers. If we can't see the real ones we can paint them :)

I am also in the middle of painting but I'm doing buildings. I'd get blown away if I went down the garden.

Painting can be so restful. I tried oil once and loved having a go though the Vicar who called that day was hard-pressed to find something kind to say. He settled at last for, "That's a nice stone at the front!!".

Your flower paintings would put my stone to shame. :O)

What medium do you use?

Very beautiful.
Each one is such a lovely study of each flower - I love the rose.

Thank you for your kind comments. Yes it is very relaxing except when you make mistakes . It is a long learning curve.
I have joined an art class and we do scenic water colours.
I also use ink in my art work.
Have a try . As my husband tells me that Rome wasn't made in a day !!!!!
