Flower Festival

During the last few days I have been helping at my local church to decorate for Immingham in Bloom. We are in the EAst Midlands area. During the last six years Immingham has been awarded Six Gold Awards for their wonderful endeavours.
The judges have been in the town today. So Immingham is keeping their fingers crossed.
These are the two window arrangements which I did with a fellow arranger. It depicts the wild flowers which the bees rely on to make the honey.
The hive is very popular with the school children who want to know how the bees make their honey

Well I'd certainly grant an award. The displays are really lovely.

Very imaginative and attractive - if the rest of the town is that standard it should be Gold again! Brilliant idea including a beehive too - some children are so isolated from nature and her wonders that every little helps!

Your church is very nicely decorated Marjorie, it's nice that you were able to join in and help.
Children are very inquisitive so it was good that they were able to learn about honey making.

Thanks to all of you for the lovely compliments. We really loved doing it.

Stunning, well done to all of you. There is always something extra special about arrangements in Church. Perhaps it's the history behind the building or the permanence of the stone, whatever it is they always look good.
