Thank's for all your lovely comment's, Cristina how the Geum came back I don't know but it is bonny, Lincslass that is my Geranium bed and as most of them are now well established, all I do is cut them back , they are doing canny aren't they,Terratoonie only the splish splash is new, but there is lot's more that I would like, and a couple that I lost to Vine Weevil to replace, but it would have to be mail order and that can be dodgy :-)))

Didn't realise that Vine Weevil attacks Hardy Geraniums....

It was Giuseppi I was growing it in a container Terratoonie,and realised it was failing on a close look there was lot's of grub's in the soil.I cleared all I could see and left the container empty over the winter and finger's crossed up to now no more bother.The other one Purple Pillow I think was more due to a big fat grey cat( Ollie )deciding that the plant lived up to it's name and made a comfy bed on it.
