Beds are flowing over,dahlias at their best…..
The new border planned last year is also slightly over-planted…..a little re-shuffling will be necessary in the autumn….the Olive tree and Pineapple broom( grey leaved ) have grown such a lot…..the perennials seem very happy there.
The last photo shows the main rose bed….. haven’t been happy with this for a couple of years….will probably take out a few of the roses and change the format…..Looking down from the house,the tall roses prevent us seeing the new border…..so looks like October will be busy!

I have been out raking my lawn. I have a lot of dead grass that I don't normally have. Maybe too much rain isn't good either.

the garden does look lovely Meadow. I also have over stuffed borders but I find I don't seem to take enough out to make a difference. :o)
