How to do the link "thingy" in blogs

I did a blog yesterday that included clickable links in the text and Stickitoffee asked how I did it. Well the instructions are at the side (under Formatting) when you write your blog, but they are not very clear so this is a quick step by step guide.
Numbered lines are instructions, followed by a line underneath which is the actual characters you add to the body of the blog. Follow it exactly and it will work for you.
1; Type
"
2; Type the text that you want the reader to see as the link. For the purpose of this blog only I’ve put the following. Use whatever you want.
Spiegel im Spiegel
3; Type
"
4; Type
:
5; Go to the web page that you want to link to, highlight the address in the address bar and press ctrl and c simultaneously.
6; Return to your blog. Make sure that the cursor is still immediately after the last two characters that you typed (the ": bit) and press ctrl and v simultaneously.
That’s it. Six steps to include a link to a website of interest, or in this case a beautiful piece of music. Right click it and open in a new tab to find out……….

Mahler is quite popular in film music - I first heard him (knowingly) in the film Brazil.

I saw the whole program one night (insomnia can be good). The conductor Charles Hazlewood came up with the idea to get a load of people with no experience to have a go, culminating in this "flash dance". It was a brilliant hours viewing!
It's a "northern" thing - the clogs were the staple footwear of miners apparently..........
