What to do with energetic kids

Now that its just me, Ashton and the school allotment I’m often wondering how to keep the wee one from following me around all day and talking my ear off!! I think I’ve found the solution.
Never let him have idle time! Amazing! No more headaches!
Here you can see our egg carton cress boxes which we made the day before. There’s also a lovely loaf which we’ve gotten into the habit of making now. He particularly likes making breadsticks. Ashton seems to enjoy washing the food we bring home from the plot even though he’s now very blaze about picking it!
Most of the time, this is what he gets up to! That or playing “controller boy” which involved lots of repetitive humming of this “theme tune” and shooting kissy-gun noises….sigh. Thank goodness for a very LARGE playing field.
