Free stuff and four-leaf clovers

I must have four-leaf clovers in the garden because luck is on my side. Although the school and parent havent shown much interest in the school allotment, it seems the suits in my husband’s office are very enthusiastic about my work!
My dutiful husband has been taking in excess veg over the past fortnight and it seems nothing has gone to waste. He even set up a “donations” box and the money is rolling in. In fact, I am recieving requests!
It appears my wares are more popular with well-fed, middle class yuppies rather than working-class families. Go figure!
Speaking of luck, one of my husband’s company directors has horses (I know, I know…) and has offered us all the free manure we could ask for. Considering how much I’ve struggled last Spring to get free manure, this is a stroke of luck indeed! Now if only I can get those parents as interested as Tom’s collegues! (^_^)

That's just wonderful - glad to hear you're getting some support. Keep up the great work - I'm sure word will spread and the interest will spark.

Take whats on offer from wherever it comes , these things filter down, That theyre willing to pay/donate for good food is excellent and a source of the best manure possible cant go amiss .Maybe the word will spread and the local public school will offer you a paid position as ECOLOGIST GARDENER, you never know where your good efforts may lead you but the energy you expend will always do something. Excellent news, but get the back garden tidied up before the Boss comes round to meet you in person...lol
