I wonder...

My second blog this evening is more of a question but more of a thought.
Im very much one for creature comforts. Big bed, lots of pillows, hot showers, warm towels, dishwasher, internet etc etc….
BUT…
Having become a bit of a gardenholic… and now hubby has his wildlife puddle…am quite tempted to camp out in the garden one night to see what comes out?!
I live in a small village, but there are lots of houses in my road, we have a reasonably large garden and several huge, huge huge think they may be conifers (about twice the size of my house) and a large playing field nearby and a river about 2 minutes walk away… roughly from this description what would I expect to find in my garden?
interesting…..no fibs please cos if its good what I hear I may well do it… and will take pics too

bats definitely.
Not the idea, or you (tho i wouldn't take it as an insult anyway. All the best people in life are a bit bats)
Watching bats fly in and out of those tall trees at dusk would be nice.

ooh yes I sometimes see them of an evening, lovely
and yes you are right, and I am quite batty

Bats for sure and If you are lucky, a Barn owl, their brilliant white colour in the moonlight makes them very magical and ghostly. A truly beautiful bird, we have one that regularly swoops across the fields in our village at night. Ofcourse, slugs and snails by the bucket full :-))
