Grubs up?

As there has been nothing to report in our gardens here of late. I thought I would do a lil blog on our Chameleon.
Not so long ago we managed to get a double wardrobe from the beloved freecycle. Which hubby very cleverly turned into a new home for “Red” the yemen Chameleon as he was getting much to big for his first home.
Red is a chap who likes to be alone. Think the word is solitary (but am unsure) He sometimes gets in a grump especially when we try to take him off a little perch he likes on the curtains! he sisses at you through his nose and puffs right up. He loves to climb to the highest point and if hes on you that usually means your head. He doesnt do this to me so much since I cut my hair right short as he doesnt have much to hold on to,.
Red is a picky eater, he recently went right off the locusts we buy .
and is more than happy to munch on waxworms all day but these are very fattening and are more of a treat.
we mist his house thorughly twice daily sometimes more if it is particuarly warm. The water has to be quite hot to us as when its sprayed it cools down and anything cooler would be like us standing in a cold shower!
We make sure he also has his 5 a day! chopped tomatoes, apples, blackcurrents, greenbeans and carrots. We try to vary this reguarly so he doesnt get bored.
He also likes to eat what these turn into!!
have tried to look up what type these will turn into but I have a phobia of moths and butterflies. Am becoming quite brave recently and am now able to stand very still if one comes near me instead of running around like a crazy person. Can also throw things in their direction if they become to close!!
We do catch butterflies in the garden and put them straight in his house. I say we catch them its mainly hubby and my nearly 3year old daughter Cody!!
hubby took this next photo.
well thats my blog for today, have tired eyes
love to all

Great blog, Mookins. Chamaeleons are terrific. They used to wander into our barracks in Tripoli and hiss when we tried to get them off the bunks!
You with your (anticipated) Chamaeleon romances, and me with Twiggy and Tarzan, we could start an internet zoo!! LoL
Does the time of day make any difference, Ian? Do tell.
I guess you must be feeling better. LoL
