Yet more seed planting...

Out in the garden by 9am to sow the onions sets in the root area of the moon bed is this is the last of the three root days, the book advises that onions should be sown when the moon is descending to stop them going to seed so we shall see!
Then on to the control bed where we sowed brassicas, savoy, primo and greyhound cabbage… we’ll sow more later in the month to get a good succession.
Monday or Tuesday we will sow the brassicas in the moon bed depending on how the weather is behaving – it was supposed to be raining by now but, thankfully it isn’t :-)

I planted out my durham early cabbages today. Have put them in pots of garden soil so that my youngest can tend them. She has read about moon growing in one of her story books and wants to know how it works.
