What a shot!

This Sunday morning I had gone out on the back porch, turned on my trusty radio to listen to my favorite gardening show and low and behold, the coyote that I have been wanting to photograph was making his way across the farm field behind our home. I ran inside and grabbed my most powerful camera to see if I could get a shot of him. The morning fog had drifted into the field and that added a great background to the shot. It was a once in a lifetime shot:

I kept shooting as he wandered across the field:

I think that I now know where all of the rabbits have gone! He visits the wooded area next to my house a couple of times each week..

Looks like he has been eating pretty well! {chuckle}

For the photo buffs out there, the camera was a Kodak Z712IS at full optical zoom set to the max 7 MPX, using the default photo settings.

Don't worry, Joanella, although I have a few great rifles, that coyote has cut down the rabbit and squirrel population in my gardens and flower beds, so he is my best friend! I might actually be able to grow a decent veggie and herb garden next growing season thanks to him! {chuckle}
