well the shelf doesnt look like a shelf anymore .ive now just got to form the 5 goblins,dont hold me to that lol on the front of the bricks ive just put on tomorrowthe pipe work ie plumming fittings staine it seal it pagoda fill it.i hat to render under the shelf today before bricks.you got to wet it first.trust me concrete is about as tasty as it looks.i learnt something though as i never stop thinking.the bain of my life sometimes but hay ho.im not ever going to build a shelf like that again.ill build a plywood triangle of wood ,wedge it up .form the hole shelf from the top with reinforcing wire layed in.lovley day though .i think it makes more sense now hope you enjoy take care bye for now

I like the grotto style under the shelf , looks like caves , looks great , yes you will be suffering NP ... but how many people have bad backs and have nothing to show for it .:o)

my backs killing but i must do this i love it your right.ill do it till i just cant.it reminds me of a pheonax realy.your elephant soon amy very shortly get started as ive took keely to the framers.it will look good finished and in about a couple of years when its settled in.i dont think long now.the mushroom seats about 2-3 days.the pagoda maybe a week.natural stone pathe maybe 4 days.stain,sealer a day and all the days my back hurts to much or the weathers crap.i see the light at the end of the tunnel .it means so much to me you liking or infact disliking my stuff but being honest and friendly.like a breath of fresh air thanx again bye bye take care and enjoy the lovley weather

You must look after your back NP, or you won't be able to do anything. I'm looking forward to seeing it running with plants around it. We maybe coming up to your neck of the woods begining of June, camping.

ow i see daff im having an open garden the 22nd of june though id happily let you have a look anyway.i think this is gonna be my best but last actual pond.its bean painfull lol its horrible having found direction and having a head full of ideas but not having a body thats up to it.hay ho lol take care bye for now

Why don't you consider drawing designs and selling them? You could also sell your expertise and advice on how to actually build the ponds? Just a thought....

i just mite have t craft but im a very hands on persen craft .i mite have to design ponds,gardens .give the basic brickwork job to a bricky and just do the arty bit .
