Happy Christmas!
Well, I haven’t been on here much – busy-ness and a bout of flu have seen to that. Added to which, gardening seems to have taken a back seat since summer (sweeping has been my main garden occupation) but I can’t let Christmas pass without sending all my friends seasonal wishes. And if you don’t pick them up until Spring, well, I’m in the same boat! But if you’re reading this in February, I hope you had a good Christmas!

I'm with you and Bloomer on this!
Have a really lovely Christmas and put that broom away or else you will be confused with Cinderella!
Very best wishes for 2017.

Thanks Loosestrife. I certainly hope we'll be swapping Easter greetings!
Thank you Hywel! It's going to be family-filled so it will certainly be lively!
Thank you Marjorie.
Diane - this isn't as clever as it looks. It's a bought crib scene (double-sided) which sandwiches a set of small lights. I have it on a dresser shelf (you can see some red and white china behind it). It does make a striking photo, though. Serendipity!
Thank you Sheila - see the above comment to Hywel.
Thank you Paul!
Thank you Bloomer and Wildrose. I am turning a blind eye to the garden and the broom is well and truly hidden in the shed!
Have a wonderful time, everyone!

Well, now and I thought it was a crib scene from your church! Its beautiful. We empathise with the sweeping here - still at it yesterday - where do they all come from?
Hope you have a lovely Christmas with the family. The garden will be happy to look after itself for a while as it plans to surprise you with snowdrops soon...

Wishing you a lovely holiday too. love the nativity scene. :o)

Thanks Stera and Sbg. The crib scene looks far more intriguing in the photo than it does on the shelf, though it is very attractive.
The garden is getting quite experienced at looking after itself!
Have a lovely time!

I only whispered that...Hope you've enjoyed today and although its a tad late at 910pm, Happy Christmas to you and yours...
