i was on a garden tour today, three gardens of the sarnia hort. soc.Im sorry,the camera i was using i didn’t know so I only took a few snaps.
this was a bottle tree
there were many different types of lily
Doug has about a dozen hens.

We have a bottle tree but it has suffered as a result of the drought. Last year it was beautiful.
(Thought for a moment those were Dementors along with the chickens!!)

Did you notice how the supports for the bottles were fixed t the post? At least that's one plant that doesn't need watering!

Steragram; I believe the stem of the Btree was covered in a mesh with the mesh broken where the bottles were.

That's ingenious - doesn't sound very secure though but they look firm enough don't they?

Looks beautifully kept and the bottle tree is just zany and interesting, might go for one of those in the garden. Hope his chickens keep well and safe.
