Hello everyone
Thanks very much for all your welcome messages.
My home, on a slate hillside, has gardens and grass on three sides. Overlooking a valley the views are quite spectactular and the winds can be quite 'high'.
I'm no expert so everything I do is purely trial and error. I have three 'beds' of perennials and shrubs plus numerous pots and containers which I move as and when the mood takes me. I no longer grow fruit and veg because I don't have sufficient soil depth. (Yes, I could make raised beds etc but have decided to concentrate on flowers and shrubs etc.)
