Banned from garden centres

I was looking at the weather forecast last night, and it is supposed to be sunny here in Hull, over the comming weekend, ( bet it chucks it down!) .
So I says to the wife thats good we can have a wonder around some garden centres over the weekend.
No chance she says have you any idea how much you have spent at garden centres over the last month?
No can`t be much I says, so she throws the bank statement at me.
Oooops! £250!! on it,
Ok i says i won`t take my wallet out with me this weekend,
( I will hide my debit card in my back pocket!!!!!)
Fingers crossed for the sun.

O Phil u Naughty Man !! GCs can cost u dearly as they always seem Expensive ? Some times they have Bargains but uv 2 be there when there are :) Like David Says Car Boots r Fab Places to find Sensible Priced Plants only prob is they may not have what u want :/

You could have spent £250 in a much worse way than buying plants which will give you pleasure for many years....

get to 'the outlet' on beverley road dunswell for some good bargains.:o) i have had some fantastic bargains from the reduced corner. [on the left at the back before going outside]

Seaburngirl, i spend half my life at the outlet garden centre,have got some bargains, and the staff are very helpful.
I also use Middle lane garden centre near Preston they are very reasonable prices and have some different plants.

have you been to Reighton, between filey and brid? now they are worth taking your wallet to. just ask bonkersbon !

take lots of money and dont be put off by the small pots and overcrowed plants, released from their confines they take off.

from brid as you go towards filey there is a nes roundabout and you turn left at the dotrel pub and a short distance down the road its off a slip road on your left. I know how to get there but check google maps first.

lol I think this is funny, You are a plant aholic like me, but I mainly go to car boots to get mine a lot cheaper and more unusual plants too.
