Last week, I think it was Thursday, The BBC weather internet page said Sunday and tomorrow ( Monday) would be dry and mostly sunny where I live in Sutton near Hull. Well what a joke it has rained nearly all day today and the latest forecast is same for tomorrow. Do they have a clue or is it a big quessing game, how am I supposed to do anything in the garden?

Same here. I am paying this man 70.00 to take away a whole load of conifer branches for me. He will be coming on Tuesday the forecast is rain all the way until Wednesday. All soaking wet.

We have been lucky today...and yesterday, too. It has been dry and sunny, with a bit of a chilly wind.
I'm not sure what to think about forecasters, they so often get it utterly, utterly wrong - with all their high-tech equipment!

I am sure they got it more accurate years ago without all the fancy computers they have now. I hope it stays dry enough for me to erect my gesebo tomrrow so I can at least sit out under cover, keeping warm with the chimnea burning some logs.Anythings better than watching the rubbish on TV, and I can take my lap top outside and talk to you lovely people.

We've had two gorgeous days, with blue skies and sunshine, but the forecast was for rain - not sure they can even predict a day ahead!

We used to have the Met Office here in Bracknell until about five years ago when they moved to Exeter. The forecasts haven't been so good since then. On the up side, we don't have the weather they test before sending it to the rest of the country any more :-)

the most accurate weather forcast I ever heard was on the weather channel one year... the forecaster stated "its either sunny or cloudy, windy or raining, snowing or sleeting, foggy or clear... it just depends on where you are at."
Can't get it wrong that way! LOL

They didn't predict good weather for us but we had a glorious day.

It seems as though the West of the country has had the best of the weather over the bank holiday. The East coast has been dull and cold. We were on the edge of it so were teased by the weak sunshine that never came.
I remember it being said that if the forcasters simply said that "the weather tomorrow will be the same as today" then statistacally they would be more accurate than their daily forcast, I want to be a weatherman!!
Enjoy whats left of Easter, The garden centres are open today!!

Errr - there was a Plant Fair at Syon House yesterday so three guesses as to where I went. Oh alright, just one guess and you're right!

I've given this blog a like out of empathy.
BBC certainly predicted Sunday and Monday as sunny and dry for East Anglia, but it didn't happen...
