I didnt think that grew as tall as mine Janey,which is taller than me, so over 5ft....... also doesn't Berberis Thunbergii bear some type of fruit ?

They can get quite big Goldie.....I think they have a deep yellow flower...so assume a deep yellow fruit or a purple one, not sure.

I haven't as yet seen any flowers or fruit on it Amblealice, it has been there a number of years too. .But whey hey.......... I didn't see that Cherry Tree was in fact a Cherry Tree...........so obviously my observations skills are hmmm Can I say a rude word?

He..he......I remember pruning mine Goldie...as it was in a not very good position and had to be kept low...and yes it had weeny creamy-yellow flowers in spring, and probably tiny black berries in autumn.....I think they are grown for the foliage colour mainly though.

I seem to remember some tiny yellow flower's on one of my bushes... but don't ask which one lol .I will keep my eye's peeled this winter for any berries appearing on it. Thanks for the input both ;o)

I think its a Berberis Thunbergii Goldie....I used to have one years ago.....:o)
