Beautiful Spritz, are they in pots or in your garden ?

Very beautiful, like a lady dressed up for the ball.

That one is in a pot, popped into a space in the border! I have a few planted in the soil, but ran into problems with that last year when the dreaded lily beetles were rampant - and I couldn't get into the border to 'squish' them! So this year, I grew a whole lot in pots and I either 'sink' the pots in, or place the pots to fill colour-gaps when other plants finish flowering.

Then it's easy to remove the pots when the lilies finish, up to behind the greenhouse to await re-potting next spring! That has worked so much better, as I had the pots lined up before they went in, and could check them every day. 'SQUISH'!!!

A beautiful Lily Spritz....I do the same...keeping them in pots is much handier....

Isn't it just! It's been sooo useful this year - as one pot finished, I had another ready to take its place! And, pots all lined up outside the greenhouse made checking for the 'red perils' easy!
