What a bargain, David - a beautiful plant. Good luck with the cuttings.

Many Thanks!
Gee, I'm going to remember the tips I've learned on GOY about not replacing the water when it turns green. Will also try some in pots in poly bags. I believe that the new plants will keep this great colouring. :-)

It's not now, Janette - have chopped it into 19 pieces, which, will give me more plants - hopefully!

OW!

Hopefully, Marie, they'll all "take". One "cutback" that would be very beneficial. :-)

LOL!! Yes, I'm going to let the carex you gave me decide where their seeds are going to come up, but will "pot" a few as well, there are so many seed heads!
OH! Nearly forgot! The rhubarb corm I cut off for you has sptouted a new shoot, so it DID take!!
30 Aug, 2009
Yippee! Will soon be growing my own "crumble". :-)
30 Aug, 2009
LOL! I dunno what sptouted is!! I meant to say sprouted!
Yes, you CAN grow your own crumble!!
In the meantime, you can have some more rhubarb on Sunday!!

Lol!
Better watch, though, with cutting more. You can only cut a certain % of the stalks. :-)

I dont cut them, I pull em out!! It needs thinning out anyway!

Oh, you sound like a dentist! (Well, we cut teeth, too, as kids???!!!!!)
And, no it doesn't!!!

I hadn't seen this photo before, David. But I'm glad I've seen it now as this is a fantastic colour for a Pelargonium. I wish I'd seen one like that in our market place. I would have snapped it up at once!
Although the majority of my plants are very common place I do like to have a few that are a little different from those that most people have.
One year I planted up all the pots on the railings of my balcony with different variegated Geraniums.

If my cuttings keep this foliage, Balcony, you can have a couple for your amazing balcony garden. :-)

Thank you very much for your offer, David. I'd like that very much.

This is less than half of a plant in a 3 litre pot I got yesterday at my local Homebase store, reduced from £8 to £2. (but I used vouchers, so got it for free).. The dark brown (chocolate) foliage, edged with mint green, made me rescue this one. Will take cuttings and multiply - hope the babies have the same colouring?
