Yum!

They look yummy, but not sure that I'd want to try eating them. Best stick to the wild, native elderberries.

What? They're not edible? Not chuffed at that! :~((

Well, I always read that the flowers and berries of the "black" elders were purely ornamental, although the birds eat them. I have, however, read (here on Goy and elsewhere), that they are, but not very tasty. :-(

Oh no, lol! I do get home eventually. Got in only about an hour ago, and am "unwinding". I hate coming in and going straight to bed, don't want to feel that the day has been totally given over to that necessary "evil" called w.o.r.k.

Dont you swear at ME! Using the "W" word! How dare you? I've had my boss on the phone, saying she REALLY needs me back at w***!
Going to doc to put it in motion tomorrow.
I HATE 4-letter words! Dust, iron, cook, tidy & most of all, w***!
Lol! ;~))

Strange, so does my" w * * *e," LOL!!
Well, I have to give in for tonight, up early in the morning (even on a day off!).
Goodnight!

Goodnight! Not getting a lie-in on your day off? Terrible! I've got to be up for the destoyers!

Those kitchen invaders, as opposed to garden ones?
Hope they made good progress today!

If the dark chocolate-coloured foliage weren't enough to warrant this shrub's inclusion in our "chocolate" garden, the berries, which follow the blossom, certainly do - they are just like little choc-coated raisins! :-)
