Beautiful scenery like the boat the locks are beautiful so I have been told and from what I ve seen on tv there is one place close to the locks that has a trail and free cabins you can stay in as you walk along the trail or cycle. My youngest daughters father was a scot from Glasgow he use to say. Hope your son has a wonderful time.

I walked The West Highland Way a few years ago and can vouch for its beauty. It's a great walk even if it is only about seventy miles. Just right for a weeks walking.

Love this shot Pansy. We love the western Isles and visit Arran often. It reminds me of Lochranza which is on the north coast of the island .
Thank you for all your comments about my paintings . It is so encouraging.
Love Roseberry

Simon was up in Scotland again at wekend, climbing Ben Lomond and another Monro, so waiting for some more pictures, your paintings arevery good, its nice to meet up with someone with similar interests, i used to paint quite alot but cant seem to get myself motivated at the moment, my garden, Goy and looking after Polly takes up most of my time, but maybe in the future I will start again. , love to see more of yours!
