"Chocolate" Cosmos (cosmos atrosanguineus)

Beautiful!

Alas, not frost hardy here. Will have to collect the seed, and/or, dig up the plants I have, pot up and put in the shed to overwinter - whichever I decide, as grew this year's flowers from seed sown last year, in anticipation. :-)

PS. I like the way the blooms seem to "float" in the air above the grasses. This is because the stems are so slender, and don't really show.

Just wonderful.

Why not do both?
