Thank you Louise. :-)
5 weeks from the fireweed starting to seed which is happened this week. High is 75F and low 45. I'm on a hill, the valleys are seeing 40. EEK. :-) There are leaves starting to turn now. Most things will keep growing all the way through and then the sad day of first fr**t (No one wants to hear about that yet) :-)

:-)
I pulled out the fireweed so I don't have to have the reminder. Our unusually hot summer is over with clouds and rain to accompany the burough fair. Every year. We call this our rainy season. Its a little chilly. I call it mushroom season. :-)

Thank you Thistle. We are all pretty unexcited about the season winding down. But my early sun keeps things lovely until the first fr***. I'm pleased with the steps myself, glad you like it. :-)

Thankyou MW. The petunias started going over after an early frost last month, but today, snow. It was raining, I pulled out some flower for bouquets as it froze to ise, and now all white. Goes so quick around here. It really was a long gorgeous summer.
