Slowly coming into shape, and just in time, the temp has turned. The runner beans on the poles are getting up there and the flower cascade continnues on the steps.

Lovely frontage Greenthumb.
What have the temps gone from and to now ?
I remember you saying you had the 5 weeks until it got cold.

Thank you Louise. :-)

5 weeks from the fireweed starting to seed which is happened this week. High is 75F and low 45. I'm on a hill, the valleys are seeing 40. EEK. :-) There are leaves starting to turn now. Most things will keep growing all the way through and then the sad day of first fr**t (No one wants to hear about that yet) :-)

:-)

I pulled out the fireweed so I don't have to have the reminder. Our unusually hot summer is over with clouds and rain to accompany the burough fair. Every year. We call this our rainy season. Its a little chilly. I call it mushroom season. :-)

Thank you Thistle. We are all pretty unexcited about the season winding down. But my early sun keeps things lovely until the first fr***. I'm pleased with the steps myself, glad you like it. :-)

Absolutely beautiful - sorry I am catching up on your pics very late in the day. Does it still look like this?

Thankyou MW. The petunias started going over after an early frost last month, but today, snow. It was raining, I pulled out some flower for bouquets as it froze to ise, and now all white. Goes so quick around here. It really was a long gorgeous summer.
