Briggsia kurzii (Briggsia kurzii)

A plant, new to cultivation, that I bought from Crug Farm in the spring. Needs a shady spot in a humusy soil and has grown about fifteen inches tall and wide so far. Early growth may attractive to slugs

Love the inner of it lovely pattern pretty flower what do you do to prevent slugs getting your plants do you cover with plastic pop bottles or milk cartons cut off and place over plant

I bought a whole load of copper rings from www.greengardener.co.uk in the spring - slugs won't cross copper as they get an electric shock. Vulnerable plants have a ring around them and it has worked so far
