im hoping to get some seeds off this, not sure at what point to do it though, very pretty but need lots of room so big and tall, about 4 ft if not more

That is beautiful Sandra.....Just leave the heads to dry out on the plant itself......When they start to dry you can just carefully open one and you will see if the seeds are ready.....P.S. Think of me when they are....please x

Fabulous Sandra! can just imagine what they will look like when all the flowers open! I grew lots this year from seed Amy sent me, they all grew really well however when I planted them in the borders the slugs had a feast, and although the plants are siill there the growth has been stunted and I doubt whether there will be any flowers this year. But I am hoping they will stronger next year and will be able to withstand any damage from slug attack.

Wonderful colour Sandra a real stunner .. dont worry as flowers fade and stems dry you ll see seed pods developing a bit like foxgloves . You can snip of the dry stem and shake the seeds into a bag.

Yes Sandra, you will be able to tell as the seeds will look drt and come apart singly......Too early and they just look like one mass.....
