Rbtkew: Foster's Botanical Garden is the oldest botanical
garden in Hawaii. It is located in downtown Honolulu, HI...I think is was established circa 1850. It has many old large speciment trees.

It is definitely one to put on the wish list...However, Lyon Botanical Garden and the Ho'omaluhia Garden which is my favorite is a must because they are located in the tropical rain forest.

This is the small tree at Foster's Botanical Garden.
There's larger ones growing here in San Diego than this one in this photo.

Yes, from time to time I come across members' photos from last spring and summer, and I think....How did I miss this ? Then I realise it was when I had worries taking my attention away from GoY.
