Round cucumber

The first of the round cucumbers to ripen. Taste like normal cucumber but the rind has prickles on it like 5 o-clock shadow Terry says.

Yes, Homebird, they seem quite easy and good(particularly if you pick them quite small). They grow in a greenhouse or outside.

I thought these were some exotic melon type fruit till I read the comments. Think I'll have a go next year too!!! Roll on round cucumbers!

Fantastic. I've never seen these before! I was just reading your blog about them but you obviously did alright with them afterall! I grow an outdoor Cucumber called 'Swing' and I've done really well with them this year and last.I had 11 from one plant last year!
