Having seen Spritz's Red Jewel I'm suspicious of this one.

Nice colour.

Spritz has this and there's no yellow on it at all, hence my suspicions. I do love these though.

There's a wonderful site for heleniums at : http://www.helenium.net/
a site owned by Sampford Shrubs who hold a national collection of them. Lots of useful information - when they flower, heights etc.

That's attached to Holbrook Garden - I did a review of it on GOY when I went there 2 years ago. The garden is amazing! It was very difficult to decide which Helenium I liked best.

That's another place for the 'visit' list then.

Thanks, Tate. You have a lovely collection of dahlias - I've just been looking at them and your beautiful cat. A warm welcome to GOY.

Great photo - and I rather like the touch of gold at the edges of the petals; adds to the fire.
