I've never lifted it or even mulched it, Spritz. It struggles back but never makes a big plant like it's supposed to. I wondered it if didn't like the Eucalyptus roots - some plants don't, apparently.

Wagger yours looks much greener than mine, and you say it survives the winter? will leave ours out and hope for the best.

It's been there for about eight years now, Daisy but doesn't do very well. It's very cold here so should be ok in Hampshire.

My friend up the lane grows this - but her garden is more sheltered than mine. I'd like to try...maybe I will!!

You have things that overwinter in your garden that wouldn't stand a chance in mine, Spritz so I'm sure it would be ok there - it might even flower for you and you could tell us if the nectar really does overflow onto the stems.
