The pink flowers on my Strawberry Candy have been going strong all through the summer, they're the only Heuchera flower that i don't cut off as soon as i see them because they're such a vibrant pretty pink and always present !

I don't suppose I'll get any flowers this year now, will I? :-(
23 Aug, 2009
Hmmmm, mine's still flowering so you may ..... !

Now THAT would be a bonus, Louise! :-))

Speak softly to it and see what happens ;)

I will! I'll even sing to it if it'll flower for me! :-))

"Who can take a sunrise,
Sprinkle it with dew.
Cover it in chocolate
and a miracle or two?
The Candyman!
The Candyman can.
The candyman can 'cause he mixes it with love
and makes the world taste good.
Who can take a rainbow,
wrap it in a sigh?
Soak it in the sun
and make a strawberry lemon pie?............"
(will stop there, Spritz, as I may not be helping your heuchera AT ALL with my dulcet tones. Obviously, we know this song obh., as it's in THAT movie). I'd add "Key lime" between the strawberry and lemon, as we're referring to a heuchera, after all). :-)

Thank you for the right song, David! It might even do the trick - who knows? lol.

Havnt seen that one, but it is pretty.

There do seem to be a lot of Heucheras around at the moment, Dd. That was good - it meant I had lots to choose from! :-)

Do you have any trouble with these plants, and do you take cuttings Spritz?
24 Aug, 2009
Yes, and no.
The 'yes' was my own fault, Dd. I allowed my patch of Lysimachia ciliata to overwhelm two that i planted in the winter. I'm going to rescue them and pot them up for some tlc. They are still alive, so I think that'll work!
Otherwise, the only one I've ever lost was 'Obsidian' which didn't appreciate a shaded position!
I haven't tried cuttings? Do you think they'd work?
